Holden Beach's public accesses are spread along the island's main road, each marked by the cross street it sits on.

How the numbering works

Streets on Holden Beach are numbered west to east, and most have a public walkway to the beach. Not every access point has parking directly attached — some require a short walk from a nearby lot.

Parking

Parking is limited during peak season. Arrive early, and never park in a way that blocks a driveway or fire lane — the island is strictly enforced during summer months.

Restrooms and showers

A handful of central accesses near the bridge have public restrooms and outdoor showers; most of the smaller accesses do not.

Accessibility

Certain accesses have beach mats or mobility matting for wheelchair access — check current listings with the Town of Holden Beach before you go.
